Evie had her first ball game. I know they are arranging the season so that the games and tournament are all done before the July 4th holiday, but I would think they could hold off for a few more days and let these kids get done with school first. Or maybe I’m just tired. Saige was supposed to have practice and we had goats escape all over the yard so we missed the game. Luckily, there are plenty more we can catch before the season is over!
Quincy and Landrie went to a drag show. I thought she looked cute, so I made her let me take a picture. I am happy to see her do something besides work! :)
My little buddy is ready for grammy to have more free time so she can come visit! :)
Mallory had her last day with kids yesterday. She has had a good year, and we have enjoyed watching her enjoy teaching again. Now we just have to get her gall bladder surgery done so she can enjoy feeling human again!
Tomorrow is Saige's 8th grade graduation. I am very proud of how she works hard in school, keeps her grades up and tries to stay mostly out of the drama that is her class. I am hoping that high school will add some maturity to a lot of these kids. Or at the very least, spread them a little thinner in the mix. She is excited and ready to do summer, and then leave Carbondale behind. Safe to say we are all ready!
