Friday night lights (again)

Friday nights are always fun.  Cameron played well in the football game.   SFT lost to Wellsville.  The band had a good performance as well.  I didn't know Cameron was going to be in the halftime show until I saw him on the field with his tuba.

The football team was treated to dinner at 4 corners before the game.  Cameron enjoys these team dinners a lot!

Lil Dancers

Saige and Harper spent this week attending the high school dance team's dance camp.  They basically spend a week with the high school dance team learning a dance and then perform it at the football game on Friday night.

They had a great time and were pretty excited for us to watch them dance.   I was happy that Harper wanted to participate since she is pretty shy and getting in front of people is hard for her.  They did a great job!

Couple weekend photos

The 4-H club voted to have a couple of concession stands at some events the fair board is doing.  The first event was this weekend. They hosted UTV races.   I have never really been to a UTV race before, and I don't really understand what they were doing.  Fortunately, I do know all about concession stands!

Preston and Quincy really busted their buns working. The community leaders had a meeting yesterday and I left them to clean up the stand. It was pretty gross.  They did a great job.   They also worked the majority of the evening.  It was not as lucrative as we hoped, but they still made some money!

The homecoming photographer posted a couple pictures he took.  I like them.

Rest of this week (a blur)

Homecoming events and activities took up a huge chunk of Cameron's week.  Bonfire parties to burn the other team's mascot, dinners to celebrate the team, volleyball tournament fundraisers, spirit week.  It was a lot to take in and a lot to do.  I was thankful that Jim was willing to man the bonfire, as I had already committed to driving the bus that evening.  Someone should have handed me a list of events senior moms are in charge of this year I guess!

Preston had a football game at Iola.  I finally had an opportunity to watch him play since I drove the bus.  He played really well, but his team did not win.   I love watching these boys. They are small but tough!

Also....note to self. If a coach asks if you can stop at a gas station to get drinks on the way home always respond with "yes we can stop for non-caffeinated beverages!"   Jr. High boys drinking monster drinks in a bus for an hour and a half is no bueno!

I had to snag pictures of Cameron off of the school website and fellow mom's Facebook pages.   I did not get to attend a lot of the festivities due to Quincy starting basketball practices, and the little girls and I had to resume RE classes too.   I needed another day in the week and will definitely need an additional day in this weekend! It was a blur of fun.

Homecoming

This was Homecoming week on the Trail.   Cameron was selected as a Homecoming King candidate.  All the festivities kept him extremely busy.  I believe that everyone enjoyed the parade.  I was happy they let the little kids out of school to participate.

Cameron was not selected as the king, but we are very proud of him nonetheless.   The football team won and it was a really fun night!
