The big kids decided they were going to a concert together in Wichita. Then they were hanging out with Colin, Spencer and Easton. I’m not sure what Preston and Sunny were doing, but they didn’t make it.
I love that they sent photos, but until my mom pointed it out, I hadn’t noticed Spencer and Tatum were reflected in the mirror of this group picture, which is pretty neat.
Jim, Harper Saige and I were on babysitting duty for the girls and Mallory’s dogs.
I love that my kids like doing things together. It really makes my heart happy.
Friday was the first day it didn’t rain in I don’t know how many days. So of course the girls wanted to be outside after school. Which is awesome. We were all drawn away from chores to see what Maude was incessantly barking about. She found a tiny snake. It was just a baby black snake (western plains rat snake). We could not get her distracted away. Bassett hounds have a huge attention span and are incredibly stubborn.
Someone was reunited and we had a hard time dragging her in for dinner!
He loves her too….I’m 100% sure of it.
We had an easy dinner and did some crafts.
Evelyn was very patient and did a great job on some diamond art. It turned out great but I didn’t think to take a picture of her finished project.
Probably because this one spent 4 seconds on her painting and then decided it was time to put poor Tooth Fairy in a basket. This process lasted a lot longer than her crafting time. Did I intervene and save Tooth? Negative. He lives to annoy me, so it felt like payback. Plus he has claws, he could have stopped it any time he wanted to.
Bonus- everyone (including Grammy) slept all night!
