Quincy had her last game of the season last night. She played really well. She may be doing some tournaments this winter, but we are still waiting to hear about that. For now, she said although she likes playing basketball a whole lot, she is ready for the season to end so she can come home after school for a while! :)
Her team was undefeated in league play (12-0 for league) and are the league champions. This is the first time since 2009 that the girl's jr. high basketball team has brought home a banner. They were pretty pumped about it.
To celebrate their championship, one of the moms brought a cake. They might have been more excited about the cake than they were the banner! :) This will be a fun team to watch grow!
Preston and the fan club had "white out" as their theme last night. They were pretty wild, and spent the majority of the night chanting "get in my belly!' not sure what that has to do with basketball....perhaps they were chanting it toward the concession stand people?
