Signs of spring

I have thoroughly enjoyed having the kids home this week.   Since we are currently bottle feeding a baby goat, it limited the ability to go on any trips etc, but we had fun hanging out and changing bedroom spaces and painting!
This morning we decided that we could let Totes and her babies outside.   They seem to really like the sunshine and fresh air!
Ray learned a lesson about sniffing baby goats!
Mooler got booted out of his pen and put into the goat pen.  His pen had a better shelter for babies!  He has hay so he didn't seem to care!
I am very proud of the job that Preston has done in raising the rejected goat.   Curley loves Preston and has really bonded with him!   Preston is a very good momma goat!   He has not once complained about the trips to the barn with baby bottles.  He may have complained about the goat biting him though!   Curley has sharp teeth!
Preston was telling me that although he loves where we live, sometimes he misses running around town with his friends.  He did point out that he knows he would never get to play tag with a baby goat if we had not moved though!
