My big boys have been working a lot. Haven't seen a lot of them except for some random photos that they occasionally text to me. Oh, and they usually show up to eat! 
I was amused with Cameron stopping by my office this morning. He had been to a student council meeting where they were picking out a theme for homecoming. He was disappointed that they did not like his idea of a prison theme. I can't imagine what they wouldn't like about that idea. Maybe "make your own shank day" was what scared them off?
The fishing clinic has been a huge success. The kids all seem like they are having a great time and I have seen a lot of great catches. The men running it have taught the kids so much too. Today they learned about making catfish bait, fishing on the bottom, cleaning catfish and preparing catfish for the best flavor.
Not one day has gone by where my kids haven't been filthy and smell disgusting....so we know they got our money's worth out of the clinic!
We also had a treat of fresh catfish nuggets for dinner tonight!

Preston is on a really good little team this year. He is enjoying himself tremendously. We were a little creeped out when he put on Harper's glasses. They look a lot alike!
A friend of mine recently blogged about how her youngest daughter always wears her gymnastics leotard. My youngest daughter also loves hers, except she thinks it is a fantastic swimming suit!

ReplyDeleteWe have one for EVERYday of the week, ok maybe 2 weeks, since she is the youngest and all the older team girls pass theirs down to her!
She is so proud, another little girl did a handstand in line at gym camp (when she wasn't supposed too) and hit Clara in the mouth- knocking out an already loose tooth and loosing up one that needed to come out! SHe cried a minute then wondered it that would get her ëxtra from the tooth fairy:)
