Quincy's birthday celebration

Last week was Quincy's birthday.  When I asked her what she would like to do, she had a very definite answer. She wanted to attend the swap meet and go ride go karts.  And all of this had to be done while in the company of her bff of course. 

She spent some of her birthday money and I spent some money and she got 3 laying (we hope) hens.  She thinks that she is going to be able to keep the raccoons away from these.  I certainly hope so because I miss the eggs!  We will also be bringing her Delawares home very  soon.  

After securing the chickens, and waiting for Colin to get back from work, we were off to the go kart track.  

I believe that they all had fun.  Every single one of them claims that they were the winner!   Luckily, we finished just in time for sonic happy hour!  

We ended our day of fun with a trip to the  pool and ice cream!  Not a single one of these kids will be staying up late tonight!  Quincy proclaimed it a successful birthday celebration!
