A whole 10 months

has passed since we welcomed this little sweet baby to our family!  She is sweet too!  She is a happy little girl who Harper likes to call "Tootsie Roll."  She is really getting big, and has found that she can entertain herself now.  This is a huge bonus in the getting stuff done department!  She is busy, and loves to 'help' in the kitchen!  She can definitely unload the dishwasher faster than anyone can load it!  She has 6 teeth, is starting to babble pretty good, saying both ma ma and da da,  and is absolutely everywhere!  And we adore her!
For her 10 month birthday, she is getting weaned onto a bottle.  Not because I really wanted to, but because I need to take some antibiotics that makes it necessary.  She has been making the transition ok, at least during the day!  Harper likes helping me with her bottle....makes it more like she is her doll baby!

One thing about Saige, she hates her carseat!  It is tolerable if the car is moving, but if you are waiting on a big brother to get out of the locker room, don't think for a minute she is going to sit in a carseat!  She is highly insulted by that idea.  She will be very happy if you just unstrap her!  She does get to wait a lot!  It is always the same too, no waiting in her carseat - always have to be unbuckled so she can see what is going on around her!

Stickers and Cheetos keep Harper busy for an entire afternoon!

Quincy has started soccer practice, with her first game coming up this weekend.  She loves soccer, and I love that the practices make her so tired!  They make other people tired as well!

It has been a busy week around here.  Freshman football is brutal, as Colin plays on the freshman team, gets some playing time on the Jr. varsity team, and is required to go to the varsity games.  This means he is going to 3 games per week (and playing in 2 of them).  Cam is playing too, of course, so we are all spending a lot of time watching football (and marching band).  One thing I can say about baseball season that is better, most ball diamonds have playground areas for little kids.  I am finding that very few high schools have playgrounds!  :)  The little kids have fun playing around with the little brothers and sisters of the teammates, however, bleachers are not good substitutes for playground equipment!
