To celebrate their birthday, they both worked the evening shift at the nursing home. Madison told me a funny story. She told one of the ladies there that it was her birthday. The resident got very excited and said "today is my birthday too!" So Madison wished her a happy birthday. Madison then found out that it was most definitely not the lady's birthday!! :)
We also sent candy bouquets to school today (courtesy of the window display in the gift shop next door to my office - Harper has been going crazy about those candy bars looking so pretty). Madison said that they ended up getting sung to at lunch and Mallory turned about 50 shades of red! Glad that Harper's idea worked out so well.
