Our house

We had a mostly laid back weekend.  The problem with weekends is that even if they are 3 days long, they just aren't long enough!  The kids are really hoping for a snow day tomorrow!  There is a chance but somehow, since there are basketball games on the school schedule, I would bet they go to school!
Recently, grandma made all the kids new blankets.  She was not able to find fleece with chickens on it for Quincy.  She did find chickens on cotton though!  Quincy was so happy!  Saige gave it a test sleep at my office!
Saige is really enjoying crafts and has a wonderful time at the library for story time!  This week they made valentines.
And Cameron made a valentine holder for his locker.  He was very excited that a few people even left him stuff!  Never mind what kind of stuff!
Once in a while a moment around here is so sweet I can't help but snap a photo!
The lizards had fun with Cameron while their tank was getting cleaned!  Madison had a friend over to watch movies for Valentine's Day and she may not have liked the dragons quite as much as we do.
Friday evening, Quincy told me that Jim was taking her fishing on his day off.  I asked her if she had seen the weather forecast.  Apparently, if it is trout season at the local lakes the weather doesn't matter!  Jim indeed took her and the boys all fishing today.  Quincy was the only one to catch a trout.  I had said we could grill it, but we froze it instead.  Colin is planning to go back to get more before we break out the grill.  Quincy thought the rainbow trout was about the most beautiful fish she had ever seen.  She was not happy when I said no to keeping it in the bathtub.
These boys love helping Saige with her stuntman skills. Once in a while I even catch them demonstrating proper daredevil ways to get hurt.
And with that, the weekend is officially over!
