Preston is currently 10th chair out of 20 trumpets in his grade school band. He wants too move up, and had been practicing! A LOT. He is actually pretty good, but when Cameron asked him if he knew ANY OTHER songs I did have to laugh!
Overbrook school used to have a holiday meal. They stopped doing it when they reorganized the schools. This year, they brought it back. The only problem was, I forgot. Had grandma not been called in for a bus driver random drug test, we would have missed it! Everything worked out, and Harper was a great hostess! She was pleased that we surprised her!
Saige does not mind being home alone while the kids are in school. As a matter of fact, I think she actually loves it. She has become the self appointed after school snack maker!
Preston's student council group was given turkey donations. They gave holiday meals to several in need families. He said it felt good to do a good deed, but it was also good to miss math class.
My kids are honest!
