The kids had a day off of school today. As did Mallory. Quincy had early morning basketball practice, but that was our "it" for the day. Harper and Saige both needed new shoes, so we made a little trip into town. We found the neatest light up shoes on clearance for $5. They can change the colors, and make the lights go in patterns and they had them in the sizes we needed. Harper and Saige were so excited! Of course, when we got them home, I realized they came with chargers and have to be plugged in to charge the lights! So my awesome, money saving deal is going to end up costing me a fortune on our electric bill! No matter, the girls are happy!
We so seldom have an afternoon or evening free, that we decided we would celebrate with some crafts. We decorated sugar skull cookies for dia de los muertos (late we know). We decorated some wooden Thanksgiving cut outs, and we had manicures and pedicures courtesy of Harper.
I love relaxing evenings with my crew!
