Tooth cake

Wrenley is going to be 2 tomorrow.  Mallory took some updated photos of both the girls.  I love how these turned out!  So stinking cute
They are definitely growing up too fast!  I can't believe Wrenley will be 2 years old - and Evelyn with her missing teeth looks like such a big kid.  Impossible to believe how fast time flies by!  I better get some more frames - these are worthy for sure!

Of course, if you have the camera out anyway.....this one will put on a random, weird show for you!  She is so big now!  She looks like the Bassett she is, rather than the awkward puppy with huge feet!  We are seeing a lot of the Bassett stubbornness from her.  She knows some commands, and she will do them if she feels like it!  One thing about her though, she is always happy to see you and is so sweet!  I love her to pieces!  She is my baby girl!

Last night, I worked at the liquor store.  Saige texted to see when I would be home, as she had made a cake for Tooth Fairy, and wanted to sing to him for his gotcha day.  Yes, we indulged her - I mean she did go to the trouble of making a cake, and cleaning up the mess she made!  And no, I can say with 100% certainty that Tooth did not appreciate her efforts, did not blow his candles out, did not sit nicely while we sang, and does not like cake.

Jim and I have owned a lot of cats over the years.  I probably shouldn't even admit it, as it makes us look like bad pet owners - but outside cats in the country - reality is they just don't stick around that long.  Indoor cats - well they live longer for sure.  Not the point.  The point was that as cats go, Tooth Fairy is not my favorite by a longshot.  I cannot get him to stay off the counters, which I absolutely hate!  I cannot get him to not scream for food when I go near the vicinity of the cat food, even if he has a bowl full sitting right there.  I cannot get him to not dump over the bathroom trash, and he is really not very friendly, never sits on anyone's lap or really wants any attention aside from "feed me."  But Saige loves him, so we tolerate each other.

I believe that I mentioned Cameron was in a corporate tug of war tournament last weekend.  He sent me this picture, which I really like!  I think is funny how he looks so serious when the lady behind him is smiling.  He probably wants her kicked off the team, she isn't taking it serious enough!  :)

We picked up a car for Preston.  I have been trying to get a rise out of him by sending him photos of all his sisters driving the car, but so far he has not responded to my insanity.  I miss the kid - it has been a while since we saw him!  He is coming home for Wrenley's birthday party this weekend, picking up his car, and hanging out for a little bit.  I am excited!
