I enjoyed watching all of them. The band was good, the little cheerleaders were adorable, the football team issued an a$$ kicking to a team we all like to beat. The weather was chilly- warranting hot chocolate and warm nachos. And for a minute, life felt “normal” again.
All my life, I have loved to take pictures. I am terrible at it. I acknowledge that I have zero photography skills. I also acknowledge that my kids hate it. I no longer care. I’m going to keep taking all the photos. I am going to keep blogging them in a way that they are in dated order. I just simply think when and if there is a time where the photos are all you have - you want those. So buckle up kids - this isn’t a winnable argument. It never really was - and now I have even more reasons for it.
Also, looking through my mom’s photo albums. I am now determined to sort through the pile of old photos and stuff in my basement. It needs to be sorted. It needs to be labeled. I have been putting it off. My sister-in-law even offered to take it home and do it for me. I appreciate the offer and should have taken her up on it, however I think it is something g I need to accomplish myself. You know - a project. Always need a project. Or 6.
Harper- pretending she doesn’t see me!
