Cameron's band is preparing for the battle of the bands at the parade. They have been practicing their little hearts out!
The fair started today. We have cookies, goats, a bucket calf and some chickens exhibited. Oh and Louder the rooster. Quincy is pretty sure he is the most amazing rooster in the history of roosters!
Ryan MOOler weighs 200 pounds! Only about 1200 to go before he hits my freezer! He is a very nice little guy, Preston is really enjoying him!
We decided to enter Preston and Quincy's doeling goats in the breeding class, and bring them back home with us. The plan was to sell Colin and Cameron's wethers. The big problem was when Colin's goat, Spoobie did not make weight. I guess he will be coming home with us after all! Gotis made weight and we are planning to sell him, although of all the goats, he by far has the funniest personality and we are all quite attached!
For the record, neither Colin nor Cameron will ever be allowed to cut my hair!
Tonight Mallory worked at the ceremony for the queen and king of 4-H. She did a good job!
We are off to a great start!
