Hellooo summer!

Goodbye junior year! Cameron likes to dress up. He keeps me wondering what will come next. He makes me laugh and makes me amazed at his creativity and activeness. He will now be working full time as a Judd Ranch boy, a gardener on weekends, and an umpire in the evenings. Hello adult responsibilities!
Goodbye 6th grade. Preston says this was absolutely his most unfavorite year and he is more than happy that it is over! He feels like their class got slighted. He is a funny kid and will probably spend at least part of the summer plotting revenge. He is doing some lawmmowing this summer as well as some gardening with Cameron. He will also be practicing football and going to summer weights. Hello junior high school!
Goodbye to 5th grade and to all things school related. Quincy may have enjoyed 4th grade last year, but she is now back on the side of school hatred. She did enjoy band this year....but that was the only positive thing I heard from her. She is looking forward to playing with critters and getting her baths at the pool. Hello battle of the dirt amd stains.
Goodbye JCCC! Madison is finished with the bakery and pastry program. She had such a great time there and loved every minute of her time playing in the kitchens with other like minded people. We are proud of her for finishing school. Hello adulthood!
Goodbye Barton County! Colin finished strong and on the very last try, on the very last day, earned his truck driving license during finals week. He finished all his classes and moved back home for summer. He started his new job today, as an engineering intern for the Kansas Turnpike. He said it is a lot of random stuff he will be doing and he thought it would be fun. He will be working some on weekends for the Judd Ranch and umpiring nights with Cameron. Hello money for KSU in the fall!
Goodbye preschool! Saige had her last day yesterday. She was very sad. She told me she doesn't know when she will get to see her teachers again and she loves them! She absolutely flourished this year and we are happy that she liked school since she has barely scratched the surface! Hello big kid school!
Goodbye living in Emporia. Mallory moved home for at least the next year. She will be student teaching for 2 semesters in Topeka. She is also starting a new job at Sprout's with Madison here in a couple weeks. Hello grown-up work!
Goodbye 1st grade. Harper was also sad to leave her teacher. She enjoyed 1st grade this year and we are impressed that she has learned so much! She is looking forward to summer activities and not waking up early, as morning is not her favorite. Hello sleeping in!
