Summer weekends

We had 2 softball games and 1 baseball game this weekend.

I enjoyed watching Quincy's team with a big win! Quincy did a great job pitching!

Harper got a great hit and had a double!

Saige got a shout out for being aggressive and playing great defense! She is the youngest kid on this team and although she is not quite as developed as her teammates, she tries really hard! Preston's team also had a game but they did not win. They were improved though which is good!

We had a lot in our to-do list this weekend. We did manage to get in a little pool time and some much needed play time!

We also planted more hills of cucumber, and zuchini and put in our acorn squash and pumpkins as well as a few more peppers and tomatos.

The big goal of the weekend was working goats. The kids got weaned (and as a result our yard is very loud) the does went to a friend's house to graze their pasture. One doe that we had taken over previously was brought home, as she is due to kid soon. I am happy to have this project completed! Now we just have to get these boys to grow, grow, grow!

As always, weekends end sooner than anyone would like. I am So thankful for the time we had to share as a family though!
