We had an excessively happy and fun 4th of July! Some traditions we love - like the Overbrook bike parade! We had 5 participants. Since Harper has not been riding very long, and never on asphalt, Preston volunteered to help her!
My nephew got a new bike and was excited to participate!
Cameron rode his unicycle!
And Saige decided to ride a scooter. Quincy was not really wanting to be in the parade, but decided to walk with Saige.
Afterward, the Pride serves all the kids lunch! Hot dogs, cookies and snow cones- my kid's dream meal!
We had a lot of fun shooting off fireworks. The humans did anyway. The dog....not too pleased! Poor Blitz spent most of the day hiding behind the couch.
This evening, we had a little bbq food and then headed to town for the fireworks show. We went early because we wanted kettle corn, but the corn man never showed up. We had to settle for watermelon and more snow cones!
It was a nice evening to hang out!
And Overbrook puts on a great show!
Happy Birthday America!
