Now it’s just a game.

This morning I was determined not to be early for bible school, but the kids think it is hilarious and were loaded in the van even earlier than the previous days.  So we took a “dad went to school here” tour of Baker Univeristy.  They have heard all the stories.  They were laughing about it all the way over.  We were all a little horrified at the current state of the Sig Ep house, I think they might have had a party and not cleaned up yet.  Lots of broken glass and furniture.  Of course, it is a frat house so maybe that is just normal.

We have also all heard the stories about a friend of Jim’s who added an “F” to this building and how if you look close, you can still see where they sandblasted it off.  Seems to be a true story.  The kids think this is hysterical.
The kids had a lot of fun at bible school again today.  Preston attended with the girls because they were honoring this year’s acolytes.  He was given a gift and pizza for lunch.  Life is good for him.

Mallory ran across this rattler not far from home.  I was behind her and got him again for insurance purposes.  ;)   I made the kids study the pattern and head shape.  Awareness is the key to safety with these critters.  We do not kill non venemous snakes.

I won the battle over sleeping outside but lost the one on setting up the tent.  The girls are happily holed up in the living room in the tent reading books.  Seems like a good compromise.
