Tonight was Saige’s 5th grade band concert “first look”. In the years and years I have been attending concerts, this was a first. They had the parents sit behind their student. That way we got to see what they see, and sort of be a silent part of the process.
I enjoyed this. Unfortunately, Jim had a meeting so grandma had to stand in for him. Evie sat in with the band too, and played her pretend clarinet. It was cute.
Saige did a really great job! She has worked really hard and I’m impressed with what she has learned in 2 short months! Always a band fan!
