This morning was the goat and swine weigh and tag day for 4-H. We got the hogs and the goats tagged. One of the hogs we thought we were getting is ill, so we are only getting 3. They are tagged and will be delivered later this week. The kids were pretty excited. We did have a little trouble getting Cameron's babies loaded in the truck, I didn't know baby goats could jump up walls and flip like ninjas, but they can! All in all, it was a pretty stress free morning!
After the weigh in, we went to the emergency services showcase that the city police department was hosting. The kids got to see Lifestar helicopter, the highway patrol helicopter, watch the jaws of life tear open a car, and they got tons of coloring books, pencils, and various other goodies!
It was a pretty neat event.
I am jealous! That sounds like a pretty cool event!
