Madison bought herself a new car! It is a 2013 Dodge Dart. She found it last week when we went car shopping and she thought it was a pretty sweet ride. She has worked very hard and I am proud of her accomplishments. She does crack me up though. Car salesman asks her what features she has to have in a car....Madison responds with heat and air! It isn't too hard to please her! Mom was more difficult, insisting if she is driving into Kansas City next year for school she needed something with good safety ratings and good gas mileage. She was pretty pleased with her selection and the timing couldn't be better as far as I am concerned!
Because she made a deal with Cameron, who is buying her old Honda. Cameron is also excited about having a car of his own, as he thinks it is better than the old man car! Cameron is a tough negotiator though, and Madison agreed to pay for one oil change and a new air freshener. ;)
I have to admit that after seeing Cameron's summer schedule between basketball, football, weights, and the part time jobs he accepted, I am especially thankful he can drive himself.
