Preston played his last game of the season this evening. It was a sort of hard season, as they didn't win a single game. We pointed out to Preston that it doesn't matter what the scoreboard says. We are interested in him learning and improving. We feel that he was successful.
He got to play with a bunch of his best friends and was coached by a guy we all like and respect. They improved from the beginning to the end of the season. And let's face it, the world needs people who are gracious at losing too. I bet someday all this practice and trial and error stuff will pay off for these boys! I am proud of Preston and I look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future!
Our boys finish basketball tomorrow. They were hoping for more games but I think this will be their last this season. We have talked with them a lot too about improving and we have been thankful for their coach this season who has really given all the boys on the team a lot of opportunity to play!
