Today was the annual Field Day for K-6 grade students. Quincy was excited to FINALLY get to participate after many, many years of watching! She told us she was happy because they were giving out FREE water bottles!! :) Its the little things!
She seemed to do a good job, a lot of kids were falling down, but she hopped right to the finish line!
Apparently Preston enjoyed the free water too!

Harper informed me that the stroller is HERS, and that Saige is not allowed to ride in it! She got new information!
In his last field day, Cam started out running solo,
but somehow ended up running his water race with Harper-- she sure thought it was cool!!
I thought for sure Preston would be the winner of the shoe kick, considering how many times a week I have to tell him to stop kicking off his shoes all over the house!
Other kids must do the same thing!
Not sure what this is called....run with a rubber chicken? Anyhow despite it being rather warm today, Quincy seemed to be having a really good time!
Quincy also won 2nd place in a community bankers coloring contest. She was pretty excited by the 2 quarters that were on her "trophy." She wanted me to take her to the store right away. I didn't have the heart to tell her you can't buy much for 50 cents these days!!
