Seems like we have all been learning lots of new stuff lately. Quincy was wanting to learn about gardening. I love to plant stuff but don't have the best track record with keeping it weeded! We decided maybe a couple of containers of plants would be a good bet for this year, as we are trying to sell our house and didn't think a weed patch would help the selling process. Quincy was very excited about her little plants. She has a couple of flowers and a container of tomatoes. She also makes a good model for our new front step (thank you Uncle Brian).
Mallory thought Saige should dress as a toga baby! Saige is learning that big sisters will try to get you to do all sorts of weird stuff!
Important lessons are being learned about wrapping sisters around little fingers!
Saige noticed that it is important if you are learning to sit, that you do it when Harper is not in the room!
Tonight, Harper asked Madison to pitch to her. I looked out the window and noticed that the sun was setting and shining through Harper's curls. She looked like her head was on fire! The photos don't do it justice. It was hilarious!
We are also learning that if you are going to be on summer schedule, it is nice if it is actually summer break! We are already hanging out at the ball park until dark every night, and with the excellent weather, getting the kids into bed has been a real struggle. Hurry up summer - we are waiting on you!
Cameron also was lucky enough to capture (actually his mentor did the work) a swarm of bees this week. This brings his hive total to 3. He is very excited. This swarm was found in an apple tree in Carbondale. They have a nice new hive to live in now....where they are actually very much wanted! He is now feeding them to try to encourage them to stay.
