We had a full weekend of cleaning house. The kids did not necessarily enjoy this, but it was needed, and we got it looking pretty good for the showing that we had this afternoon. Now if we can just keep it clean. Ha ha!
Harper spent all day yesterday wearing one of Jim's hats from high school. He was pretty happy that, and thought she looked marvelous in it! He even said now there is something to take a photo of!
I think it is really funny how Saige holds her spoon while eating with her hands!
Colin has gotten very good at loading and unloading the dishwasher.....shhhhhhh that is supposed to be a secret!
Cameron used some of his Coke Reward points to shop for Christmas gifts. Preston was the happy recipient of Sports Illustrated for Kids. He spent the whole weekend quizzing Jim's football knowledge! He is the world's pickiest eater, I wasn't surprised to find him reading rather than eating this evening, long after everyone else was finished and he was supposed to try "just one bite" of his dinner!
It has been very cold this weekend. It was finally cold enough that I didn't think Harper would have a heat stroke in these footy pj's. She was sooooo excited! She said "they even came with built in shoes!" These things are thick! She won't be needing too many blankets tonight!
Harper was not too thrilled to see Saige trying on her shoes. I made her allow it however, because it kept Saige busy for a good half hour! :)
So it wasn't a busy weekend, and it wasn't a fun weekend, but we will make up for that this coming week. We are definitely making use of our 2013 calendar!
