We have had a busy, yet fun weekend around here. Quincy proclaimed it was the weekend to tame down the ducks. When she told me this, I did not realize she planned to do so while watching tv with them. Apparently my 'ducks belong in the barnyard' speech doesn't apply to special occasions like "duck taming weekend!"
I took Blitz to get her shots. She has gained 10 pounds since last time and she was so well behaved she got a snack from the vet! She has an ear infection which she is now on antibiotics for. Other than one ear, she seems to be very healthy. She is starting to really listen and respond. She is a good girl!
Quincy had a ballgame and hit another home run! She was pretty pumped about it!
We finally got the pool water to be blue. She who claims the water is not cold gets to run the pool vac! I seriously think Quincy's body lacks heat/cold receptors!
Colin took off for football camp at Emporia State. After he left, Madison and Mallory took this cake that Madison made to a resident who was having a birthday. The kids were excited to go to the girls' work and eat cake!
Blue water meant lots of pool time this weekend! I feel better after soaking up a winters worth of vitamin d! Too bad weekends don't ever last long enough!
