Happy birthday America!

We had a great 4th!   As has become customary for us, we started our morning at the annual bike parade.  Saige and Preston were the only ones who wanted to ride this year.  Cameron agreed to help Saige, who wanted to ride her scooter.
Preston rode by early in the parade.  And then we waited.
Harper found a small toad while we waited!
Finally, here came Saige, who had conned Cameron into carrying her.
She officially quit the bike parade at the halfway point!
But had fun cheering on her cousins!
And playing with Colin at the playground!
We then hit up the fireworks stand and blew up tons of stuff!
I love the 4th.  I always have.  So much fun to play with fire!
Saige doesn't really feel the same.  She preferred to stay inside the house with Blitz who hates loud noises!
We had a great time at our friend Bev's annual party.  I think Bev misses Jim living next door and being the taste tester for all her smoked meat.   She had smoked up a couple slabs for Jim to take home!
We enjoyed the evening at Overbrook's night of fun.  They had a band, cotton candy, and kettle corn!   The kids had a feast on sugary delights.
And enjoyed a spectacular show!
A great way to end one of my 2 favorite holidays!
