Life is too short not to celebrate all the holidays. Even the ones that Saige made up in a feeble attempt to get cake. We even had a few decorations!
To celebrate rainbow day, one would think you might need rain with a bit of sunshine. We had a small amount of snow instead. Preston and Quincy had a great time with their redneck Olympic Games. You know....what family doesn't sled on a skateboard you took the wheels off of, an old Rubbermaid container, several types of lids and then just plain old cowboy boots?
I did make Saige a rainbow day cake. She was extremely pleased. That is, until Colin came home and proclaimed that rainbow day cake was only for boys, therefore he must eat the entire cake while Saige watched.
He was not met with enthusiasm for HER HOLIDAY with his bad ideas.
Mallory moved back to Emporia this week. She is working weekends here. I think she missed the puppy. I am not sure if Blitz felt the same.
