Kid stuff

Friday night, Cameron's team played against Osage City.  The team once again struggled and didn't come up with a win.  Cameron had some nice assists, a few points and a couple of completely awesome rebounds. He is playing with a lot more confidence, and that makes me happy.
Yesterday was the Baldwin Invitational Tournament. It is a pretty big tournament with a lot of tough wrestling schools.
Colin had a decent day on the mats and came out with a 5th place finish.
He had to wrestle one kid twice.  The first time the kid beat him.  The second time around, Colin had an awesome match and ended up beating the kid by 1.  I love watching him wrestle so tough and come up with a win.  A well deserved win is always fun to see.
I could not resist snapping these photos of Colin with his coach.  Coach Erickson is not only a great coach, but he is also a great person.  We are very blessed that Colin has had him all of these years.  He helps with the younger kid wrestling as well, so Colin has had the privilege of knowing his high school coach and being instructed by him for about 10 years now.  Sometimes you luck out and meet great people through your kids.  That is definitely the case here.
It was a fun, but long day.  SFT placed second as a team.  That is pretty impressive considering how many schools were there.
Jim left Colin's tournament a little early and went to Preston's basketball game.  Jim said Preston had a good game.  After the game, Jim, our 4 younger kids, and Quincy's bff met up with Quincy's basketball team and all went to the KSU women's game together.  They had an amazing time. It also sounded just a little bit wild.
