For whatever reason, the big boys haven't had any basketball games or wrestling meets this week. It kinda made a nice break, where we had a little down time. Which was good because the weather has been a little crazy. Preston and Quincy both had games scheduled, but Preston's was cancelled due to ice.
Yesterday morning, Harper drug this dress out of her closet. When I asked her why she wanted to dress so fancy, she responded "because it's Thursday!"
And quite a Thursday it was! Saige played out on the sidewalk in front of my office. She had a ball catching snowflakes on her tongue and dancing around in the snow. She came back in about half an hour later with cookies, suckers and gum from the ladies who work next door to us.
Quincy had a basketball game. She played really well. I must say the girl is a beast on defense. She isn't afraid to go after the ball, that's for sure.
We enjoyed a small "break" and now I hope the weather warms up because it's back to the regular winter insanity!
