Preston had a game this morning. His team lost by 18. This might seem bad, but last year this team beat them by 55. I think that is definite improvement!
Preston made quite a few nice tackles today. It was a good game.
After the game, we attended the city's annual fishing derby. The above photo reminds me of why I love Jim....he isn't afraid to dive into a pond and retrieve the kids equipment!
The fish really weren't biting for us today. I imagine the storms of last night might have played a role. We will go with that, and not mention how many times the little girls reeled their line in after Jim would get them set. I am sure that had nothing at all to do with their lack of success!
The only catch of the day for our clan....a real pretty stick.
The door prizes were really nice though! Quincy won a shirt. We should look at this photo and realize it will never be white again.
Saige is really proud of her green and blue salamder pole!
Harper and Preston both won poles as well. It is a great event. We all had fun!
