My brother (and more accurately his girlfriend) hosted our annual 4th of July party last weekend. Somehow it has acquired the name Langfest....and they had a very good turn out of all our cousins, aunts, uncles and a few neighbors too. It was really hot, but we had a great time!

We all learned lessons, had a great time visiting with family and friends, and enjoyed the fireworks. Thankfully, it was easier to enjoy them once the firetruck showed up (borrowed not someone calling 9-1-1 like here at our house!!).
We are looking forward to more festivities for the actual 4th -- my second favorite holiday!
