Today is Quincy's 6th birthday. She has been on a birthday high for the past week, and it only got bigger today! Interestingly, she requested the dinner that we had the night she was born. She also told me she wants a "big girl party" this year, and wants to go to the movies with some friends.....she made sure to tell me that this INCLUDES popcorn! :)
She, of course, wanted to go shopping today and pick out her own gifts. She had hard time deciding what to buy, and we were in the store for a long, long time. Harper was happy because Quincy conned me out of both lunch at McDonalds, and a Happy Hour drink at Sonic!
Quincy has always been the happy, fun, wild kid who says whatever comes to her mind, appropriate or not! She is a joy and a job! Some days she challenges my patience, but a minute later she is so helpful or thoughtful it takes my breath away! She is a really great, although complex kid!
We love you Quincy, we are very blessed to have you as our daughter, and we hope you have many, many more happy birthdays!
