Labor day weekend

After what was a pretty long-feeling week, a 3 day weekend is being enjoyed.  Of course we had to run a few errands.  If you leave your phone unattended and Landrie is around, she leaves you 44 surprises on there!   Little turkey.  Somehow we managed to get most of our errands done, and got home in time to realize we should have stopped at the pet store for a baby net for the fish tank.   I knew that Molly looked pregnant.

It is hard to tell here, but she had several babies.  She also managed to eat a couple of them.  We saved 5 and have them in a beta bowl until we can run back to town.  They look like little swimming specks.   How the heck Harper saw them in the tank I’ll never know!   It was some excitement for the day.

We had Sunday dinner.  Today happens to be grandma’s birthday and she and grandpa  joined us!  Yesterday was grandpa’s birthday.  Madison made delicious Black Forest cake and some sort of delicious chocolate cupcakes.  We had a nice night visiting.

We had a little trauma with the pool water this week and the pool is on the green side.  I was hoping we could use it one last weekend.  I have chemicals circulating - hopefully we can jump in tomorrow!  Sounds like  fall might be arriving this week.  Although I love the pool, summer weather and warm sunshine, honestly if we have to wear masks on the buses, I prefer it to cool down.

Saige - forever taking interesting photos.  Not sure what she was going for here but I did get a kick out of it.

Thankful for a bonus day tomorrow.  Living our best lives.
