Cameron sent me this nice picture of himself. He is making an attempt to reconnect with his faith. Something I am incredibly happy and proud of. Tonight’s activity included confession. He cracked me up when he texted he was absolved of years of sins and it only cost 5 Hail Marys. I think the priest was too easy - but I guess you don’t want to scare people away! Seriously though, good job Cameron - I couldn’t be prouder.

I think it is safe to say we are all enjoying spring break. Evelyn got to have her first friend sleepover. Wrenley baked cookies for them. At least I think that is what happened. She may have been tarred and feathered. I’m not 100%.
Mallory baked pup cakes for Ollie. Today is his gotcha day. It has been 7 years since I saw his face on Craigslist and proclaimed to Jim that I was driving to Yates Center to get a dog. I will never be able to fully explain the draw I had to this dog from a picture on the computer, but one look and I had to have him. Jim, at the time pretty much thought I had lost my mind. But he didn’t try to stop me. And now - the dog has all of our hearts. He is the most faithful dog I have ever had. He’s always minds. He always comes when you call. He always greets you with the happiest look on his face - like he is truly happy to see you. It’s hard not to love him.
He also really likes treats- and thanks Mallory!
Blitz was the dog that made us love owning a dog. Ollie is the dog that showed us how to enjoy it.
Today was a weird day. Yesterday 80 degrees. Today started out at 55. By noon the wind had kicked up and it was raining. The rain turned to a dusting of snow. Wind is still whipping, making everything feel colder than it really is. Tomorrow is the first day of spring. Let’s hope Kansas gets herself together and starts acting like it!
