They are currently repaving the road that leads to our house. A lot of the time if I can avoid road construction, I am more than willing to take the side road, but I actually drive this road on my bus route, and have children who live on it. When I came home for lunch, I decided to drive it to see how the progress is coming and plan for how far they had gotten versus where my stops are. So I wanted it noted that while waiting I did stick my arm out the bus window and take photos of the bean harvest, but I was alone. No children were with me.
And I had a chance to take photos of the bean harvest. Is there anything prettier than ripe beans? It is always my favorite color in the fall. I do not like to eat soy though - worst tasting bean of them all! I prefer if they feed the soy to the cow and I eat a steak!
And the bean harvest is the dirtiest, dustiest thing. Poor plants just get absolutely confetti’d. And yes that is a word -just because I make things up as I go doesn’t mean it isn’t accurate.
As you can see, the road is half done. I hope they finish this week. I don’t need to have to sit in construction with a load of kids hopped up on Halloween!
Cameron’s wreath. I like it. Completed his area nicely! Maybe next year I can talk him into more decor, but not bad for now!
And Preston did send me his birthday photo! Thanks kid! Looking pretty celebration ready! Glad to hear he had fun!
Short week with fun stuff planned. Something to look forward to which is always good.
