Mom has been cleaning out her aunts house. As a result, we have been looking at lots of old photos. Seems like some of these were from just yesterday.
The day before school got out, Jim and I went out for lunch with Saige. She was obviously very tired.
After a lot of confusion, we finally got Quincy on a ball team for summer. This is her first year of pitching. She is doing pretty well learning.
Jack had 3 kittens. One flat disappeared. This gray one suddenly died without any real reason. The black one is the last one standing. Tonight while I had Quincy at ball practice, the other 4 girls decided that they were naming the cat and bringing it inside so nothing would happen to it. Jim said he didn't mind. I don't know how long Mindy will be an indoor cat, but for tonight she is comfortably snuggled in with the girls. Slice doesn't seem to care so that made the decision easier.
Eric has become a tribe favorite. I don't think Quincy will be the only one shedding tears at the auction in August.
Harper had an eye exam yesterday and she and I got a huge kick out of this zombie response vehicle. She is going to be getting new glasses again. This time we are going to try special bifocals to see if it helps her with some of her close up details. She is seeing pretty well but not at distances that make life comfortable.
Colin and Cameron have started summer jobs. In their off moments they are doing some prep work for next year. Colin's wrestling coach gave them a work out schedule for the summer. He and his future roommate are doing the workouts together. Cameron recently found out that he made the varsity squad for summer basketball. He is pretty excited and has been practicing during open gym.
