Let's introduce baseball into our already packed, end of the school year schedule shall we? Why not!
Preston was asked to play on a team at Ken Berry this year. He was super excited about the opportunity and so we agreed to it. The team is a bunch of kids one year older than him, who he has played with off and on over the years. He really loves this bunch of kids, and we like and respect the coaches. It should be a great season! The bad part is that their season starts now. In the midst of track season, in the midst of a billion year end activities and squeezing it in is not going to be easy, but Jim and I have mastered divide and conquer!
He had his first game last night. I had a bus trip, so Jim took him. Jim even took pictures (I am so proud!). They didn't win, but Jim said he played well. There are plenty more games for them to try to win. I am happy that this season will end right as the little girls season starts up, so our summer should have less running! (She said with mock enthusiasm).
