We had a blessed Easter. We missed Madison, but we were all able to visit with her on the phone. Thank God for technology!
Mallory bought the little girls and herself matching dresses. Despite it being 65 yesterday, of course it was cold and sleeting today. Nothing makes the Easter dress outfit look nicer than winter coats! Luckily, we have a few other events we can wear these to coming up! Mallory offered to buy Quincy a dress as well, but Q wanted no part of that nonsense!
Easter is a favorite of mine. Maybe because I love the idea of spring, maybe because despite it being a joyous holiday, it is just not so commercialized, or maybe because I love ham. Who can really tell. I was happy to celebrate after mass with lunch at grandma's! The ham was awesome, the company was amazing, the kids were happy, and it was a fantastic day.
Now I just have to get the girls down from their holiday high so we can get back to business as usual.
