Tonight was the FBLA and KAY achievement night banquet. The last one for Cameron. I don't usually enjoy these events too much if I was being completely honest. They tend to drag. However, tonight Cameron was honored to receive the first ever Connie Lindell outstanding member award in honor of the director who retired last year. She drove over to be present when he was given the award which was totally amazing.
I hate that Cameron's FBLA days are ending. It has taken him so many amazing places. He has seen a lot of the country, learned a lot, met countless numbers of people, gathered amazing public speaking and interview skills, and been given so many other opportunities because of this organization. I am so proud of the work he has put in, and of the person he is because of it. One more trip to Baltimore and he will be finished with this chapter.
