We have been loving on baby Ryan. Since he is 2 months old, he can't fight us off yet! :)
Saige loves him. It is possible to love someone too much!
Saige has really started babbling a lot. She says My Dad and doesn't want Jim to pay attention to anybody but her! She also says MaDaa for Madison - much to the disappointment of Mallory!
Colin has been super busy playing baseball. His season was scheduled to be over, but I understand there is a make up game scheduled for tomorrow. Considering the weather is crazy and it is supposed to rain and snow tomorrow, I don't believe he will be making up that game! Monday we got sunburned at his game....Thursday the game will probably be cancelled for snow? Gotta love Kansas - the state that keeps on giving weather wise.
Colin also accepted a 3rd summer job. He will be a busy kid this summer. But he only has time to work in the summer, so when he figured out how to make it all work, he had to take advantage of time off of school and sports. He is going to be mowing at a large ranch in Pomona, as well as doing the ball field lining and umpiring at night. He is also doing summer weights and planning to go to a couple of football camps. His summer schedule makes me tired.
Mallory and Madison were asked if they want to work full time this summer at the nursing home. I think they will be working more hours, but are not planning to work full time.
The little kids have been busy with year end events such as field trips and plans for field day. To say that we are all ready for school to end for the summer is an understatement. We are all ready for a little more freedom in our schedule.
Jim and I have been busy looking into possibilities for building as well as looking at a couple foreclosed homes in the country. It is fun to look, and it is fun to go through house plans. It is hard to make a decision. We will figure it out one day!
