Tuesday shenanigans

Preston saw the orthopedic doctor today.  They said it was a nondisplaced fracture.  He will wear this cast for 2 weeks and go back for another evaluation. He was excited both that he got to pick the color, and to get rid of the splint which he said started to really stink!

This is red ribbon week at Carbondale school.  Today was twin day.  I thought Quincy and Landrie looked adorable twinning as 4-H campers!

Today we took the broilers and the 2 turkeys we had left to Garnett to the processing place.  Quincy really loved raising these turkeys and we are all sad to see them go.  Watching them run is hilarious and the barking noise they make will be missed during chore time!  She did an excellent job with this group of broilers.  I sort of wish we had purchased a few more since this bunch grew well and we didn't lose any!  Quincy was sad, but I was just thinking less things to take care of as the weather gets colder.   I can't wait to taste that thanksgiving   dinner!
