Preston had one home track meet and it happened to be the league meet. It was today. I went out after work and watched him pole vault. He not only took first place, but he set the league record. (Remember this is the first year for jr high pole vault!!). I didn't get to stay because I had to drive the bus route, but he also did high jump and the mile run. He didn't place in those events today.
The high school track team helped run the events. The guy resetting the poles at pole vault site was so cute! It was super windy so Cameron had to sort of hold the bar in place and then move his hand as they jumped.
Today officially wrapped up Preston's track season. I don't think he shed any tears over it being finished!
