Fun weekend

We had a really great weekend.  Loads of puppy snuggles, lots of family time, some work done, lots of laughs and time to catch up.  Lauren came to visit and loved meeting Carlos!

Quincy’s CWF group is still painting fences.  Quincy had to work, so her sisters agreed to fill in for her!  We are all covered with paint!  (She owes us big time!).

Diablo and Harper are becoming the best of friends.  He was not used to being handled when we got him, but is slowly getting used to us.  He’s a beautiful animal!

The 4-H hasn’t had an in person meeting since February.   The kids were pretty happy to finally get to have a meeting, see their friends and have an evening of fun.  We felt pretty safe considering everything was outside.  Pizza, meeting and a swimming party!

And she’s still got it, Quincy was the winner of the belly flop contest!

Saige and Lylah were squealing happy to see each other!

We set up the telescope to try to catch a glimpse of the Neowise comet.  When we weren’t successful at home, due to the trees, we went over to the walk in hunting grounds around the corner from our house. We weren’t successful over there either, but we noticed the sunflowers coming up behind where we parked.

Today we had Sunday lunch instead of dinner, and Mallory took the girls back over to see the sunflowers in the daylight.  I think they were probably planted as a food plot to attract wildlife, as they are mixed in with some other grains and corn.  They are really pretty!

I had such a fun, relaxing weekend that I hate to see it end!   Love some weekend down time!
