Live another day

Saige’s team and Quincy’s team both won their first round games to move onward in their tournaments.  I missed watching Saige, since the games were in different places, Jim and I had to split it.  Quincy’s team played really well.  They lost their first baseman in a broken leg causing accident at home plate a week or so ago.  I was worried, because she was a big part of this team’s success.  They compensated.   It was a good night at the ballpark.  When Saige’s game was over, Jim brought her over to watch the end of Quincy’s game.  By that time, Quincy’s team was up by quite a few runs, and they were pretty excited.  Saige took Quincy a drink in the dugout, and came out with a unibrow!   I realized later that the whole team had unibrows.   Crazy girls!  

Preston decided not to play ball this summer, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been hanging at the ballpark!  He has been the field liner, and has spent almost every night umpiring.   He was polishing up his calls for tournaments last night! He said he is undecided on if this is actually a fun job or not.  Overall, people have been pretty nice, but there are always a couple who act ridiculous!
