What a day

This was a crazy kind of day.  Actually, this has been a crazy kind of week.  Tournaments, multiple errands, city council,  bus driver defensive driving class, meetings with the county.  I feel like I haven’t been home much to spend time with the kids.  Which was why I was very happy that Grandma suggested going on their annual picnic today.  At least the kids got to have some fun!   Lone Star lake for swimming, playground, picnic and a fun day out with grandma!   They had a great time!  

This evening, Saige and Quincy both played tournament games that would determine which game they play in tomorrow.  Both of their teams lost, which means they both play for 3rd or 4th place tomorrow.  Since they played at essentially the same time in 2 different towns, Jim took Quincy and I took Saige.   

Saige took the loss pretty hard.  She was happy that her Godmother, Adreinne came to watch her play though!   Jim said that Quincy played amazing, but her team had a rough night.  

Mallory is attending a teacher conference in Florida this coming week, so we are dog sitting for Olive and Daisy Paige.  So far, we have kept them alive, but they are not liking their sleeping arrangements.  I think they miss their mom.  Sorry girls, but you aren’t sleeping with Grammy and Poppy!
