End of Flag Football for 2010

Today was the grand finale for flag football. Quincy made a touchdown (we didn't tell her it doesn't count if someone pulls off your flag). Preston made 4 touchdowns and had a lot of flag pulls. It was a fun season, and we really lucked out that it was never cold or raining during any Sunday during this season!

Watching preschoolers and kindergartners snap the ball cracks me up - here is Quincy playing center.

The blue team is tough!!!

And rough - what a bunch of brutes!
Have Mercy on the teachers at their school!
The coach got the medals engraved - that is a wonderful thing to do when you have two children getting identical medals!
It has been a great weekend! It is nice to have time to spend as a family, and once in a while it is nice to have time to play together!
With some of the kids activities coming to an end, our evenings are looking a little bit relaxed and we will have more time to be at home together. I am excited! I am sure it won't last, but my November calendar is a little blank looking!
Cam attended a birthday party in Topeka today, and Madison drove him. (Jim went too). It was her first time to drive in the city. She was excited. I can see the great potential of help in the girls learning to drive, but it still worries me!
