Harper came home with a couple of certificates for being a great student and a positive office referral for being a good citizen. She was pretty excited because both awards came with gift certificates for Papa Murphy's!
Saige has been pretty excited about the 100th day of school. Some of the grades celebrated yesterday, but Saige's class celebrated it today. It makes me laugh how this has become almost a holiday for grade schoolers.
Jim celebrated his 10 year anniversary of being the Overbrook City Clerk today. The city bought him pizza and had a party at lunch today, but he wouldn't let me take his photo, so I had to recycle something that looks festive! He has actually worked for the city a little longer- I believe 12/13 years but he has been clerk for 10. I am proud of the work that he does. He is the most polite, helpful, kind hearted person and it makes him very successful at his job. Sometimes the job also has the perk of entertaining stories as well!
