Quincy's team was in a tournament yesterday at Rossville. They had a decent day and even won a little bit. They are improving I believe. They are a pretty good group of girls. Quincy is #15 in white.
One thing that Quincy consistently does well is go after the ball. She is a master of stealing and catching people off guard.
It was a long day and ended up being a long journey home on somewhat slick roads. Mainly we didn't have any problems with the roads, but the defroster didn't keep up with the freezing rain that was falling. I was happy to walk through our front door!
Growing up, my grandma had a monthly Sunday birthday party. We always had a great time hanging out with our cousins and aunts and uncles. She did this even after most of us were grown, and really up until she got too sick to carry on the tradition. It is one of the many things I miss about her. We are trying harder to re-establish this tradition. We aren't getting to do it monthly, but once in a while. Today we enjoyed a day of hanging out together. I am abundantly blessed.
We followed this with model meeting practice. I am feeling a little stressed out about the progress that we have not made on this little project. I am keeping my fingers crossed that some 4-H members take their lines home and memorize them this week!
Saige's teacher does such a good job of taking pictures and sharing them! They did a unit about snow and went out and played in the small amount of snow!
They also painted groundhogs. I love this painting!
This is our last night with Rocky. The kids are sad because they are definitely attached and love having him in the house! They are relieved because he won't be sold or eaten and he is going to a farm that we frequently visit though! He is a sweet little miracle baby.
